What is Mindfulness and what is its relevance to my EFT practice?
Jon Kabat-Zinn, one of the founders of Mindfulness, says it involves "paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment - and non-judgmentally".. He has also described mindfulness as "the art of conscious living".
Mindfulness simply consists of techniques and practices to help us pay attention to now rather than have our energy and emotions involved in situations from the past, or racing ahead of us with hopes or concerns for the future.
As a certified mindfulness trainer, I feel it is essential for the therapist to be fully in the moment, and to this end I incorporate mindful practices and techniques into this accredited EFT training so you can be present for yourself and the client.
